SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
The FSA delivers construction materials to customer job sites. Primary duties include loading trucks, including pulling and checking loads against work orders. Additionally this position is responsible to assist the shop mechanic and shop manager as it pertains to shop operations.
Knowledge of the Central Ohio, Southwest Ohio, Lexington and Louisville Kentucky areas.
The skill to effectively communicate with Logistics manager concerning the coordination of deliveries.
The skill to demonstrate customer service skills for jobsite delivery.
The skills to manage one’s own time.
The ability to read a map and follow written or verbal geographic directions.
The ability to exert yourself physically over long periods of time.
The ability to shift back and forth between two or more activities or sources of information.

Responsible for planning and executing delivery activities, following planned delivery routes and unloading and checking materials.
Deliver and pick up a wide variety of items, including but not limited to equipment, tools, lumber, supplies, etc.
Responsible for cataloguing returning equipment, properly logging and managing inventory consistent with the shop’s standard operating procedure.
As part of the return process ensure equipment is in working condition and fueled.
Responsible for routine maintenance including cleaning machines, equipment and tools.
Responsible for performing general maintenance duties up to including shop and grounds cleaning.
Safe loading and unloading of various construction site materials, tools and equipment.
Hand stocking of construction materials.
Preparing and staging orders for customer deliveries and delivering to job sites.
Loading and unloading trucks in the shop and out at construction sites.
Demonstrate safe driving skills and adheres to company motor vehicle safety policies.
Complete vehicle inspection report daily.
Handle paperwork, such as receipts or delivery confirmation notices.
Complete inspection reports for out-going and returned equipment.
Follow safety procedures for vehicle operation.
Assist in repair and routine maintenance on small tools and equipment.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Previous experience operating a 1 ton vehicle
• Valid Driver’s License
• Class B CDL preferred
• Ability to work variable hours
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• High degree of motivation and willingness to perform generalist work.
• Ability to perform mechanical responsibilities as directed by the shop mechanic or shop manager.
• Acceptable driving record and be insurable under Jostin motor vehicle insurance.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while juggling multiple projects.
